Our system, the TAMARA DI TELLA Pilates & Tangolates (Tango Pilates), offers sessions that include hands-on demonstration of more dynamic classic Pilates workout routine that combines cardiovascular conditioning, on a functional T-DITELLA Apparatus (Tango Trainer®) for ultra core control conditioning exercises, and calisthenics using partners—all while Tango music and cadence enhances the class. Classes typically demonstrate how an intense, yet enjoyable and more aerobic approach to Pilates is possible and how clients love it and do not want to stop! . The workout includes a warm-up, three choreographed core control workout routines with music, two intense partner activities and a partner (assisted) stretching and cool-down.  Let’s keep in mind that assisted stretching always is more advanced that when you are stretching on your own, and that the assistance of your partner tends to improves your capacity to stretch a bit further.

Effort or Stretching?
When to Exercise and when to Relax

Both are necessary if the workout is to be complete. This blend is important to take into account when you consider how you wish to lead a session or a class. The Tamara Di Tella Method (Part 3)

The Traditional Pilates exercise was a regimen that relied on a rather anaerobic standardized core controlled concentrated movement rather than on a quick fix.  At the time it was developed that was very innovative, almost revolutionary. Then, as time passed, people began to notice that the cardio element was weak. Time passed and new trends began to emerge. We at the Tamara Di Tella School of Training teach our teachers to instruct their students of individual or groups classes that the traditional Pilates is very good and that it would greatly improve if a slight and controlled cardio element were added to it.

The Tamara Di Tella Tangolates – Tango Pilates Method: People who are enthused by Pilates exercise swear by this new and innovative method that adds the music and the cardio element to classes that are more dynamic and aerobic.  Tamara Di Tella is a fully-equipped Panama Studio offering individual and group lessons in both the Pilates method and Tangolates (Tango Pilates). Programs include private sessions in Pilates, Tango Pilates in regular group classes ranging from Pilates and Tango Pilates fundamentals for the beginner to advanced workouts on both the Reformer and the T-DITELLA Apparatus.

PILATES TAMARA DI TELLA TANGOThe Tamara Di Tella® Pilates – Tangolates – Tango Pilates excercises are versatile and can adapt to meet the needs of every age group in your Studio. Younger people (30-45) appreciate a bit more dynamic and aerobic classes, with music and a body shaping focus to them. Older demographic groups (45-55) prefer the combination of Pilates and Tangolates® performed on Reformer/T-DITELLA® that allows for state of the art, contemporary routines that mix both the traditional Pilates, with the more dynamic Tangolates®. Finally, older clients (55-70) prefer yje ore yoa-like Pilates stretching routines and so they assist classes in your club to perform thse latter type of routines. If you have a large older adult membership; or Pregnant or recently pregnant women; Traditional Pilates is perfect for these groups. But if you have younger groups of women who como to yor Studio in search of a silhouette building workout, Tangolates or tango Pilates is your best bet. Tangolates (Tango Pilates) is our “Pilates Plus”, our “Premium Workout” and the one everybody falls in love with.
